Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our online presence and engage our target audience which is mainly moms and women. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, social media platforms, and the ability to create compelling content that resonates with moms, dads and future parents.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, Pinterest and etc to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create and curate engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts that align with our brand voice and marketing goals.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities while responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives.
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Manage advertising campaigns on social media platforms to drive traffic and conversions.
- Maintain an organized content calendar to ensure timely posting of content across all channels.
Skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing techniques, including SEO and social media marketing.
- Strong experience in social media management across various platforms (Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest etc.).
- Knowledge of advertising strategies on social media platforms.
- Basic video editing skills to create engaging video content for social media.
- Familiarity with Canva and CapCut.
- Photography skills to capture high-quality images for use on social media channels.
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure all content is free from errors before publication.
- Strong relationship management skills to engage with followers and build community around the brand.
